The OMX carbon construction is Orbea's top-tier layup, which focuses on maximizing stiffness for power transfer while keeping the frame weight exceptionally low. You will notice a very responsive, snappy feel when climbing or sprinting, though it is tuned to be firm rather than plush.

The full ICR (Integrated Cable Routing) system creates a clean aesthetic and reduces drag, but it does add complexity to maintenance tasks like replacing housing or servicing the headset. If you are comfortable with basic bike mechanics, it is manageable, but it may require more time than a bike with external routing.

The 11-30T cassette paired with a standard 2x12 drivetrain offers tight gear steps, which is perfect for maintaining a consistent cadence during fast, flat-to-rolling efforts. It provides enough range for most racing scenarios, though riders tackling extremely steep mountains might prefer a wider cassette option.

The hydraulic disc brakes provide consistent, powerful stopping power and excellent modulation regardless of the weather. They offer much better control on long, technical descents compared to rim brakes, especially in wet conditions.
