Campania International Katsura Lantern

While the lantern is designed with a 3-inch diameter window, it is a static, non-electrical piece. You can place a small LED tea light or candle inside, but it does not come with integrated lighting components.

The lantern weighs 75 pounds and features a 9-inch square base, providing a very stable footprint. It is designed to remain securely in place on flat, level surfaces without the need for additional mounting.

Cast stone is highly durable and weather-resistant, requiring very little upkeep. We recommend periodically rinsing it with water to remove debris, and you may choose to apply a stone sealer if you live in an area with extreme freeze-thaw cycles.

Each piece is stained to order using high-quality outdoor pigments designed to weather naturally over time. While the finish is durable, you may notice a subtle, graceful patina developing as the lantern is exposed to the elements.

While it is freestanding, placing it directly on soft soil or grass can lead to uneven settling or staining of the stone over time. For the best results and longevity, we recommend placing it on a level paver, stone patio, or a dedicated garden base.
