While this formula is specifically optimized for High Efficiency (HE) machines, it is generally safe to use in standard top-loaders. However, because it is a concentrated HE formula, you should use less detergent than you would with a traditional soap to avoid excess suds.

This bottle is designed to provide approximately 107 loads of laundry. Keep in mind that this estimate assumes a standard medium-sized load; if you frequently wash extra-large or heavily soiled loads, you may use more product per wash.

Gain's Original Scent is known for being quite distinct and long-lasting. If you are sensitive to fragrances, you may find the scent strong, especially immediately after drying, though it does mellow out once the clothes are worn.

This is a dedicated cleaning detergent, not a 2-in-1 product. While it cleans effectively and leaves a pleasant scent, it does not contain softening agents, so you will still need to add your preferred fabric softener if you want extra softness or static reduction.

Gain is primarily formulated for freshness and everyday odor removal. For stubborn stains like grass, grease, or oil, it is best to pre-treat the area with a dedicated stain remover before putting the garment in the wash.
