A 650 GSM (grams per square meter) rating indicates a high-density, plush towel that feels substantial and heavy. While this provides excellent absorbency, the thickness means it will take longer to air dry than a lighter-weight towel.

Supima cotton is a superior type of American-grown cotton with extra-long fibers. These longer fibers result in a softer feel, increased strength, and better color retention compared to standard cotton varieties.

The towel is machine washable, but for the best results, avoid using fabric softeners, which can coat the fibers and reduce absorbency over time. Tumble drying on a low setting will help maintain the plushness of the terry loops.

It is common for high-quality, thick terry towels to produce some lint during the first few laundry cycles. This will decrease significantly after the initial washes as the loose fibers from the manufacturing process are cleared away.
