Lysol Laundry Sanitizer

This is a laundry sanitizer additive, not a detergent. You should continue to use your regular laundry detergent to clean your clothes, and add this product during the rinse cycle to eliminate bacteria.

For standard machines, add the sanitizer to the fabric softener compartment or directly into the drum during the rinse cycle. If you have an HE machine, use the fabric softener dispenser to ensure it is released at the correct time.

Lysol Laundry Sanitizer is designed to be safe for most fabrics, including whites and colors. However, always check your garment's care label first, especially for delicate items like silk or wool.

This formula is designed to eliminate the bacteria that cause odors, rather than just covering them up with fragrance. It leaves behind a crisp linen scent, but the primary function is neutralizing the source of the smell.

It is generally recommended to avoid mixing the sanitizer directly with fabric softener in the same compartment. If your machine has only one dispenser, add the sanitizer during the rinse cycle manually or use a laundry ball.
