LTA Z10e Headphone Amp / Integrated Amp

The Z10e is designed as a versatile component, but it is intended to be used as either a headphone amplifier or an integrated speaker amplifier at any given time. You can switch between these modes, but it does not output to both speaker terminals and headphone jacks simultaneously.

The Z10e features a standard 5-pin Stax-compatible interface with a 580V bias. This makes it compatible with most modern electrostatic headphones that utilize the industry-standard Stax Pro-bias configuration.

ZOTL technology, developed by David Berning, allows for a more efficient impedance matching between the tubes and the output. This results in a wider frequency response, lower distortion, and a more holographic, 3D soundstage that retains the warmth of tubes while offering the precision of solid-state designs.

With 12 watts per channel into 8 ohms, the Z10e is best paired with high-sensitivity speakers. While it can drive many bookshelf models, it is not intended for low-sensitivity speakers that require high current to reach reference listening levels.
