This spoon is not dishwasher safe. To maintain the wood, hand wash it with mild soap and warm water, then dry it immediately. We recommend periodically applying a food-safe mineral oil to keep the wood from drying out or cracking.

The spoon is crafted from natural wood. It does not feature a synthetic stain-resistant coating, so it may absorb pigments from highly colored foods like beets or turmeric over time.
