Dough Bowls

These bowls are intended for decorative use only and are not treated with food-safe finishes. We recommend using them for dried arrangements, seasonal decor, or as a centerpiece rather than for serving food.

Given its substantial wooden construction, the bowl has a solid, grounded feel. Its rectangular base provides excellent stability, making it a reliable choice for a centerpiece or a display on a sturdy dining table or console.

Because the bowl is made of natural wood, it is not waterproof. If you plan to use it for live plants, ensure you use a plastic liner or a waterproof insert to protect the wood from moisture and soil.

The mending plates are primarily an aesthetic detail that honors the history of traditional dough bowls. While they add to the structural, vintage look, they are integrated into the design to enhance the piece's storied, handcrafted character.

To preserve the finish, simply wipe the bowl with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or submerging the wood in water, as this can cause the material to warp or crack over time.
