Reclaimed Wood Coffee Table

The tabletop is sealed with a high-traffic polyurethane finish, so you can simply wipe it down with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners, which can dull the protective coating over time.

This table shows minor blemishes and natural imperfections that are consistent with its history and age. These marks are part of the wood's character and do not affect the structural integrity of the piece.

The steel rebar legs provide a sturdy base, but because they are thin, they may leave indentations on soft surfaces like deep-pile carpet. We recommend using felt pads if you are placing the table on hardwood or tile to prevent scratching.

While the polyurethane finish provides a protective, durable layer, the wood itself retains its original texture and historic saw marks. It is smooth to the touch, but we still recommend using coasters to protect the finish from condensation and heat.

Reclaimed wood is typically denser and heavier than modern softwoods. While the rebar legs offer a slim profile, the table has a substantial weight that keeps it firmly in place.
