Eastern Red Cedar is naturally resistant to rot and insects, so it can be left unfinished to weather into a silvery-gray patina. If you prefer to maintain the original color, we recommend applying a water-repellent sealer periodically.

The chair features a seat depth of 18 inches and an overall height of 38.5 inches, which provides a standard, supportive recline typical of traditional Adirondack designs. While comfortable for most, the deep, slanted seat is specifically engineered for a relaxed, laid-back posture.

The chair is built with zinc-coated steel hardware, which is designed to be rust-resistant. However, in high-salt coastal environments, we recommend occasional inspection and light maintenance to ensure the hardware remains in top condition.

To ensure safe transit, the chair is shipped partially assembled. You will need to complete the final assembly steps, which typically involves attaching the backrest and armrests using the provided hardware.
