The sectional is upholstered in 100% Olefin, a synthetic fiber specifically engineered for outdoor use. It is highly resistant to moisture, fading, and mildew, making it an excellent choice for open-air environments.

The solid teak base will naturally develop a silvery-gray patina over time when exposed to the elements. If you prefer to maintain the original honey-toned color, you will need to apply a teak sealer periodically.

While the materials are outdoor-safe, the manufacturer recommends covering the furniture or storing it during inclement weather. This practice prevents water saturation and protects the tufted upholstery from debris, significantly extending the lifespan of the piece.

The dramatic tufting provides a plush, padded sit, but it does create small indentations where water or dust can collect. We recommend brushing off the cushions regularly and using a cover to keep the tufted areas clean.

The ottoman is designed as a matching component to complete the sectional layout, but it is sturdy enough to function as a standalone seat or a footrest. Note that because it is upholstered, it is not a flat surface and would require a tray if you intend to use it as a coffee table.
