At 8 pounds, this urn is relatively lightweight for its size. While it is sturdy, if you live in a particularly windy area, we recommend adding a layer of gravel or sand to the base to provide extra stability.

You can plant directly into the urn, but ensure you check for drainage holes first. If the urn does not come pre-drilled, you can easily drill a few holes in the fiberglass bottom to prevent water from pooling and damaging your plant roots.

Fiberglass is an excellent choice for outdoor decor because it is weather-resistant and won't rust or rot like metal or wood. It is designed to withstand the elements, though we suggest bringing it indoors or covering it during extreme winter freezes to prolong the life of the finish.

Because the distressed light brown finish is applied to achieve a rustic, aged aesthetic, there will be natural variations in the texture and color. This means your specific urn will have a unique, one-of-a-kind character.

Cleaning is simple. Just wipe the exterior down with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap if needed. Avoid using abrasive scrubbers or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the distressed finish.
