Kasco Power Cords

Measure the distance from your power source to the edge of the pond, then add the distance from the shore to where the fountain or aerator will be anchored. It is always better to have a little extra length than to come up short, as you cannot safely splice these cords.

The color-coded plastic nut helps you quickly identify the cord type and ensures you are connecting the correct cord to your specific motor model. It simplifies installation and maintenance, especially if you have multiple Kasco units in one pond.

Longer cords are more susceptible to voltage drop, which can cause your motor to run inefficiently or overheat. Using a heavier wire gauge (like 12 or 10 AWG) on longer runs ensures the motor receives consistent, reliable power regardless of the distance.

The Quick Disconnect feature allows you to separate the motor from the main power cord, making it much easier to remove the unit for winter storage or maintenance. It is standard on heavier gauge cords, and you will need a stub cord with a red nut if your specific motor requires this setup.

These cords are specifically engineered with Kasco-compatible connectors and wiring standards for 120V Kasco motors. They are not designed for universal use with other brands of pond equipment.
