Simon Pearce Waterbury Votive

This votive is designed specifically for standard tealight candles. Using a tealight ensures the flame sits at the optimal height to refract light through the glass layers.

The layered, gathered glass creates optical overlaps that diffuse and refract the flame. This results in a soft, rippling glow rather than a harsh, direct light, adding depth to the surrounding surface.

The exterior features a tactile, organic texture created by the double-gathering process. While it mimics the movement of rushing water, the surface is finished to be smooth to the touch.

To remove wax residue, gently place the votive in the freezer for an hour to harden the wax, which should allow it to pop out easily. For general cleaning, hand wash with warm, soapy water and dry with a soft cloth to maintain the clarity of the glass.

As with any glass candle holder, the vessel may become warm after the candle has been burning for an extended period. We recommend allowing the votive to cool completely before moving it.
