Modway Bayport Chair

This chair is designed as a modular piece with an armrest on the left side when you are facing the chair. It is intended to be used as part of a larger sectional arrangement, typically placed on the far left end of a sofa configuration.

The chair is crafted from solid, unfinished teak wood. Teak is naturally rich in oils that make it highly resistant to rot and insects, so it will weather to a silvery-gray patina over time if left untreated outdoors.

The cushion covers are designed for easy maintenance and are machine washable. We recommend removing the covers and washing them on a gentle cycle, then air drying to preserve the fabric's water and UV resistance.

While it is designed as a modular component for a sectional, it can technically function as a standalone chair. However, keep in mind that it will only have one armrest, which may affect the aesthetic balance if placed alone on a patio.

The Bayport Left-Arm Chair has a weight capacity of 440 lbs, making it a sturdy and reliable option for most users.

Assembly is required, but it is straightforward. You will need to attach the back and side panels to the seat base using the provided hardware; having a second person to help hold the pieces in place makes the process much faster.
