Dunu Mirai

Unlike neutral monitors that aim for a flat response, the Mirai features a deliberately colored tuning. It emphasizes amplified bass and a gentler upper-midrange to provide a more musical, engaging experience without the harshness often found in clinical-sounding headphones.

The Mirai is specifically engineered to avoid listener fatigue. By softening the upper-midrange and utilizing a specialized tweeter design that handles high sound pressure gracefully, it maintains treble detail and sparkle while keeping the overall presentation smooth.

The Mirai utilizes a hybrid driver setup consisting of a 10mm biocellulose dynamic driver for the low end, paired with six balanced armature units. This includes dedicated drivers for the midrange, mid-highs, and a specialized open-back supertweeter for high-frequency extension.

With an impedance of 25 Ω and a sensitivity of 111 dB, the Mirai is relatively efficient. While it will perform well with most standard devices, using a dedicated DAC or amplifier can help you extract the full potential of its complex driver array.

The Knowles open-back supertweeter is designed to provide exceptional treble extension and intricate detail. It works in tandem with the other drivers to ensure that high-frequency sparkle remains clear and airy without becoming piercing or sibilant.
