Incense Holder

Being from the first batch of 2024, this holder represents the initial production run of the Daylilly colorway. These early pieces often feature slight variations in glaze application that distinguish them from later mass-produced iterations.

The brass element serves as the incense stick receptacle, securely anchored into the wheel-thrown ceramic body. It provides a clean, metallic contrast to the matte ceramic finish while ensuring the stick remains upright.

The wear is limited to the underside of the piece, which is common for ceramic items that have been placed on various surfaces. It does not affect the stability or the aesthetic appearance of the holder when displayed on a tabletop.

This holder is designed specifically for standard incense sticks. It may not accommodate thicker Japanese-style incense or cone incense, so we recommend using standard-gauge sticks for the best fit.

To maintain the matte finish, wipe the ceramic with a soft, damp cloth. For the brass component, you can use a dry cloth to remove any accumulated ash; avoid harsh chemical cleaners to preserve the integrity of the materials.
