If you are using the jars for long-term food preservation or canning, you should use a new gasket each time to ensure an airtight seal. For everyday pantry storage or refrigerator use, the gaskets can be reused multiple times.

The glass jars are dishwasher safe. However, we recommend hand-washing the rubber gaskets and metal wire bails to preserve their integrity and prevent potential rust or degradation.

While the glass is durable, it is not tempered for extreme temperature fluctuations. We recommend leaving at least an inch of headspace at the top of the jar if you choose to freeze food to allow for expansion.
