While the 18/10 stainless steel is durable, the gold-plated finish requires gentle care. We recommend hand washing these forks with a soft cloth and mild detergent to maintain the luster and prevent the plating from wearing down over time.

A sardine fork is designed with a specific shape—typically shorter and with wider, flatter tines—to lift delicate, oily fish from a tin without breaking the fillet. The 140 mm length provides the right leverage for maneuvering inside a standard sardine tin.

The sardines are shelf-stable and can be stored in a cool, dry place until you are ready to open them. Once opened, any leftover fish should be transferred to an airtight container and refrigerated, though they are best enjoyed immediately.
