dCS LINA Master Clock

The LINA Master Clock acts as a high-precision timing reference for your digital audio chain. By locking your DAC to this stable master signal, it minimizes jitter and timing errors, which results in a cleaner, more detailed, and immersive soundstage.

While the LINA Master Clock is designed to perfectly complement the dCS LINA Network DAC, it is intended specifically for that ecosystem. It is optimized to lock the DAC to its master reference signal, so you will get the best performance when used as part of the complete LINA stack.

Oven-controlled oscillators are kept at a constant, precise temperature to ensure the clock signal remains stable regardless of environmental fluctuations. This consistency is critical for maintaining accurate timing, which directly impacts the clarity and distortion levels of your audio.

Audio files are typically sampled at multiples of either 44.1kHz or 48kHz. By having a dedicated oscillator for each, the LINA Master Clock ensures that your system is always using the most accurate, native timing reference for the specific file you are playing, rather than relying on a single, less precise clock.

Setup is straightforward. The unit comes with the necessary Power Link and BNC cables to connect directly to your compatible dCS components. Once connected, the system automatically synchronizes to the master clock signal.
