Volume-shifted means the board is designed with a wider profile and shorter length than a traditional snowboard. This allows you to ride a shorter board without losing float in deep snow, which makes it significantly more agile and easier to maneuver in tight spaces like tree runs.

While it excels in deep snow due to its surface area, it is surprisingly capable on hardpack. The construction provides enough stability and edge hold to handle resort groomers, making it a versatile daily driver rather than a one-trick pony.

A 6.5 flex rating sits right in the sweet spot of medium-stiff. It offers enough responsiveness and stability for aggressive riding and high-speed carves, but it isn't so rigid that it becomes unforgiving or difficult to turn.

Because of the volume-shifted design, the 150cm length provides the same effective surface area and float as a much longer traditional board. As long as you are within the recommended weight range of 65+ kg, you won't lose stability or float by sizing down.

The significant setback naturally shifts your weight toward the tail, which helps the nose stay above the snow in powder without you having to lean back aggressively. It creates a directional ride that feels very locked-in and stable when you are charging forward.
