This set is designed specifically for Hope Pro 2, Pro 3, and EVO hub models. It is not compatible with newer Hope Pro 4 or Pro 5 hubs, which utilize a different engagement system.

If you notice your drivetrain slipping under load, or if the hub engagement feels inconsistent or delayed, your pawls are likely worn. A loss of the distinct, crisp clicking sound is also a common indicator that the springs or pawls have lost their tension.

Hope recommends using a light, dedicated freehub oil or a very thin grease when installing new pawls. Avoid thick, heavy greases, as they can cause the pawls to stick and fail to engage properly.
