While the Grifter is designed primarily for freestyle, urban, and hard-packed surfaces, it can handle light, dry trail riding. However, because it lacks aggressive side knobs, it will struggle in loose dirt, mud, or technical terrain.

The high-volume casing acts as a natural shock absorber, which is particularly helpful for softening landings during freestyle tricks or smoothing out rough city pavement. It allows you to run slightly lower pressures for a more forgiving, comfortable ride without sacrificing speed.

The Grifter has a maximum pressure rating of 65 PSI. For urban riding, you can run it near the max for speed, while lowering the pressure slightly will provide better impact absorption for freestyle maneuvers.
