Maxxis Torch

The Torch is specifically engineered for hard-packed surfaces like dirt, park, and street riding. While it excels on hard-pack, it lacks the deep knobs required for loose, muddy, or technical mountain bike trails.

A 120 TPI (threads per inch) casing is higher than standard tires, which makes the tire more supple and flexible. This allows the tire to conform better to the ground, providing a smoother, more responsive feel and better traction.

The Maxxis Torch is designed as a clincher tire. While some riders experiment with tubeless setups on clincher tires, this model is not officially tubeless-ready, so you should plan to use it with a standard inner tube.

At 630 grams, this tire reduces rotational mass, which is the weight at the outer edge of your wheel. Lower rotational mass makes it significantly easier to accelerate quickly and maneuver the bike during technical riding.
