RockShox Motion Control RC Domain Damper Upgrade Kit

This kit is specifically designed for RockShox Domain forks with a 38mm chassis, specifically the B1+ models from 2022 and newer. It will not fit older Domain models or forks with different stanchion diameters.

It serves both purposes. If your current damper is worn out, this will restore your fork's original performance. If you are upgrading from a more basic damper, the Motion Control RC internals offer more refined compression damping control for a better ride feel.

If you are comfortable performing basic suspension service, such as changing fork oil and removing lowers, you can likely install this yourself. You will need standard suspension tools, including the correct socket sizes and fresh suspension fluid, to complete the swap.

The kit includes the damper assembly itself. You will still need to provide the appropriate suspension oil for your fork, as well as any necessary seals or grease required for a proper service, which are typically sold separately.

You can verify your fork's chassis size by checking the stanchion diameter—the upper tubes that slide into the fork lowers. If they measure 38mm across, this kit is compatible. You can also check your fork's serial number on the RockShox Trailhead app to confirm your exact model year and chassis type.
