With an engagement angle of just 0.59 degrees, the hub transfers power to the drivetrain almost instantly. You will feel this most when ratcheting through technical climbs or accelerating out of tight corners, as there is virtually no dead space in the pedal stroke.

The Solix M Classic is designed for modern trail bikes with 148mm Boost rear spacing and a 12mm thru-axle. Please verify that your frame uses these standards before purchasing, as it is not compatible with non-Boost or quick-release setups.

The scalloped flange is engineered to distribute spoke tension more evenly across the hub shell. This creates a more stable, durable wheel build that can handle the stresses of aggressive riding while remaining lightweight.

This specific model comes with a SRAM XD freehub body. If you are running a Shimano drivetrain, you will need to swap the freehub body to a compatible Shimano Microspline or HG version, which are available separately.

The Solix M features an optimized seal layout specifically designed to minimize drag and noise, which also helps keep contaminants out. While it is built for reliability, we recommend a basic service check once or twice a season, depending on your local riding conditions, to keep the pawl system running smoothly.

This hub utilizes a Center Lock disc mount. You will need Center Lock rotors, or 6-bolt rotors paired with a Center Lock adapter.
