Focal Vestia No. 3

The Vestia No. 3 is quite flexible, with a recommended amplifier range of 40 to 300 watts. Because it has a sensitivity of 92dB, it is relatively easy to drive, but you will want a quality amplifier with good current delivery to get the most out of those three bass drivers.

They are designed to excel at both. The three-way design and dedicated bass drivers provide the scale and impact needed for cinematic sound, while the refined tweeter and Slatefiber cones offer the neutrality and detail required for critical music listening.

These are substantial floorstanding speakers measuring 48 inches tall and over 18 inches deep. They are best suited for medium-to-large rooms where they have enough breathing room to project a wide soundstage without overwhelming the space.

The tilted base is engineered for time alignment. By angling the speaker slightly, Focal ensures that the sound from the tweeter and the mid-woofer reaches your ears at the exact same time, which results in a more precise and coherent sound image.

For most music listening, the Vestia No. 3 provides deep, authoritative bass on its own thanks to its three dedicated bass drivers and Powerflow port technology. However, if you are building a dedicated home theater system and want to feel the lowest sub-bass frequencies in action movies, adding a subwoofer is still a valid consideration.

Slatefiber is a recycled carbon fiber material that is both rigid and lightweight. This combination allows the drivers to move quickly and accurately without deforming, which helps reduce distortion and creates a more detailed, natural sound.
