The Corus Quilt lacks a hood and a back panel, which saves weight and allows for more freedom of movement while you sleep. It relies on your sleeping pad for insulation underneath you, making it ideal for active sleepers who feel restricted in mummy-style bags.

Not if you use the features provided. The quilt includes full-perimeter side baffles to seal out cold air and integrated connectors that secure the quilt to your sleeping pad, effectively creating a draft-free enclosure.

Hydrophobic down is treated to resist moisture, meaning it retains its loft and warmth much better than untreated down if it gets damp. This makes the quilt more reliable in humid or unpredictable backcountry conditions.

The Corus Quilt is designed for users up to 72 inches tall. If you are taller, you may find the length insufficient to cover your head and feet comfortably, especially if you like to pull the quilt up over your shoulders.

The footbox is versatile; you can secure it over your sleeping pad to lock in heat and eliminate drafts, or you can wear it over your feet like a traditional sleeping bag bottom for extra warmth on colder nights.

It is rated for three-season use with a temperature rating of 20°F. While it is excellent for spring, summer, and fall, it is not designed for deep winter conditions where temperatures consistently drop below freezing.
