Race Face Turbine

The Race Face Turbine is designed for modern trail and enduro bikes using a 15x110mm Boost thru-axle spacing. Please confirm your fork's axle standard before purchasing, as it is not compatible with older non-Boost or quick-release frames.

The asymmetric design offsets the spoke holes, which allows for more even spoke tension between the drive and non-drive sides. This results in a laterally stiffer, stronger wheel that holds its true longer under aggressive riding conditions.

While they are optimized for a tubeless setup to maximize traction and puncture resistance, you can certainly run them with tubes if you prefer. However, you will need to install a tube and ensure your tire is properly seated.

These wheels are compatible with Centerlock disc brake rotors. If you are currently using 6-bolt rotors, you will need to either switch to Centerlock rotors or purchase 6-bolt to Centerlock adapters.

The 30mm internal width is the industry standard for modern trail riding, providing an excellent platform for tires ranging from 2.3 to 2.6 inches wide. This width strikes the right balance between tire support and preventing the tire from feeling 'squirmy' in corners.

While no rim can completely eliminate flats, the Anvil Edge profile is specifically shaped to reduce the risk of 'pinch flats' or tire damage caused by bottoming out on sharp rocks. It provides a wider, flatter surface area that is less likely to slice the tire casing during hard impacts.
