While these are built for functional training, the durable SBR/Neoprene construction offers good protection against mat burn and minor impacts. However, they are not padded like traditional wrestling knee pads, so they won't provide significant cushion for direct knee-to-floor contact.

To keep them fresh and maintain the elasticity of the neoprene, hand wash them in cold water with a mild detergent and let them air dry. Avoid putting them in the dryer, as high heat can break down the material and compromise the compression over time.
