French-milled, or triple-milled, soap is processed multiple times to remove excess water and air. This results in a much denser, harder bar that lasts longer and produces a richer, creamier lather than standard soap.

Because the charcoal is integrated into the soap formula, it rinses away cleanly with water. You shouldn't see any lasting black residue on your surfaces, though it is always good practice to rinse your soap dish occasionally.
