Fluorocarbon has a refractive index very similar to water, which makes it nearly invisible to fish. This specific co-extrusion process allows the line to remain thin and supple, ensuring your bait moves naturally without the fish detecting the connection.

While it is engineered to handle the demands of saltwater species, the properties of this line—specifically its invisibility and knot strength—make it an excellent choice for freshwater applications as well, particularly when targeting line-shy fish in clear conditions.

Co-extrusion allows the manufacturer to combine two different fluorocarbon resins into one line. This creates a core that provides high tensile strength and a softer exterior that improves knot integrity and flexibility, preventing the line from becoming too stiff or brittle.
