These specific tokens are designed for 35mm chassis forks, including the 35mm Steel Tube Solo Air and 35 Silver A1 models. Always verify your fork's specific model and stanchion diameter before purchasing, as they are not universal across all RockShox products.

Adding a token reduces the volume of the air chamber, which makes the suspension feel more progressive. This means the fork will feel supple at the beginning of its travel but become firmer and more resistant to bottoming out as you move deeper into the stroke.

It is best to start by adding just one token and testing your bike on a familiar trail. If you find you are still using all your travel too easily or bottoming out on moderate hits, add another one until you find the balance between plushness and support that suits your riding style.

You will generally need a socket tool to remove the air top cap from your fork, along with a shock pump to reset your air pressure afterward. The installation process itself is straightforward, but ensure you release all the air from the fork before attempting to open the air chamber.

Because tokens primarily affect the end of the suspension stroke, they have a minimal impact on small-bump sensitivity. You should still enjoy the same plush feel over small chatter, with the added benefit of increased support when you hit larger obstacles or drops.
