RockShox SDLX Service Kit

This kit is designed specifically for RockShox Deluxe Remote shocks manufactured from 2018 onwards. Before purchasing, verify your shock model and year to ensure compatibility, as internal components can vary significantly between different RockShox rear shock generations.

This is a comprehensive overhaul package containing all the essential wear items for your shock. It includes air can seals, a piston seal, glide rings, IFP seals, specialized suspension grease, and specific spare parts for the remote lockout system.

RockShox recommends a full service interval of 200 hours of ride time or once every year, whichever comes first. Sticking to this schedule is the best way to prevent internal oil contamination and maintain consistent damping performance.

While this kit provides the replacement parts, you will need standard shop tools such as a shock pump, a strap wrench for the air can, and potentially a seal pick set. It is also highly recommended to have a clean workspace and a clean rag to prevent debris from entering the shock during the rebuild.

This is a more comprehensive kit than a standard air sleeve service. It includes the necessary components for an internal overhaul, including IFP (Internal Floating Piston) seals and remote spares, making it suitable for a deeper maintenance cycle rather than just a basic air can service.
