The cabinet features a weather-resistant asphalt roof with a sloped design to shed water effectively. While it is built for outdoor environments, it is made of solid fir wood, so we recommend applying a wood sealant or stain periodically to maintain its weather resistance and longevity.

While specific weight capacities vary by shelf placement, the interior shelving is designed to support standard garden tools and outdoor accessories. For heavier items like large bags of soil or heavy power tools, it is best to place them on the bottom floor of the unit rather than on the adjustable shelves.

It can be placed on grass, but for the best stability and to prevent moisture from wicking into the wood, we recommend placing it on a level surface like pavers, a deck, or a concrete pad. The unit includes ground brackets to help secure it firmly to your chosen surface.

The cabinet features a lockable door system that provides a reliable deterrent for casual access. While it is sufficient for keeping garden tools and supplies secure, it is not a heavy-duty safe, so it is best used for organizing rather than storing high-value equipment.

Assembly is straightforward but does require some time and patience. Because of the size of the panels, we recommend having two people to help align the pieces and secure the roof, though it can be managed solo if you are comfortable with basic assembly tasks.
