Shimano Di2 Battery Mount

This mount is specifically engineered for round seatposts on Specialized bicycle models produced between 2013 and 2016. While it fits the general shape of a round post, it is designed for the specific tolerances and frame geometry of those model years, so compatibility outside of that range is not guaranteed.

This mount is designed to secure the standard Shimano Di2 internal battery (typically the SM-BTR2 model) that is intended for seatpost insertion. It is not compatible with external battery packs or newer frame-integrated batteries that mount elsewhere.

Installation is straightforward and typically requires only standard hex keys to secure the mount to your seatpost. No proprietary tools are needed, but you should ensure your seatpost is clean and free of debris before mounting to prevent slippage.

The mount is designed to hold the battery firmly without compromising the integrity of your seatpost. However, as with any accessory clamped to a seatpost, we recommend applying a small amount of carbon paste if you have a carbon post to ensure a secure fit without over-tightening.

While it is designed for Specialized frames from 2013-2016, it may fit other round seatposts with similar diameters. However, we cannot guarantee a perfect fit or secure hold on non-Specialized frames, as the mount is optimized for the specific seatpost dimensions of those model years.
