This chainring is designed for a standard 104mm BCD (Bolt Circle Diameter) 4-bolt spider. As long as your crankset uses this common mounting pattern, it will fit, but you should verify your current BCD measurement before purchasing.

The alternating thick and thin teeth are designed to lock into the chain's inner and outer links. This creates a tighter interface that prevents the chain from bouncing off during rough descents or aggressive riding, effectively eliminating the need for a separate chain guide.
