The butterfly leaf is integrated directly into the table's frame. To expand the table, you simply unlock the tabletop, pull the ends apart, and unfold the hinged leaf from the center storage compartment.

The table is designed to seat eight people when fully extended using the 18-inch butterfly leaf. Without the leaf, it is better suited for smaller groups of six.

Because the tabletop features a plank-style design with slight grooves, it is best to use placemats or coasters to prevent crumbs or liquids from settling in the seams. Wipe down with a soft, damp cloth and avoid harsh chemical cleaners to preserve the acacia and espresso finish.

Assembly is required for this piece, primarily involving attaching the legs to the tabletop frame. While it is straightforward, the table is heavy due to the solid wood construction, so we recommend having two people available to flip the table upright once assembled.
