Malco Bluette Laundry Bluing

Laundry bluing works on the principle of color theory. By adding a tiny amount of blue pigment to the wash, it neutralizes the yellow undertones that naturally develop in white fabrics over time, making them appear optically whiter and brighter rather than dingy.

While it is primarily used for whites, Bluette is also effective at enhancing the vibrancy of colored clothing. It helps restore depth to faded colors, though you should always test a small, inconspicuous area first if you are concerned about colorfastness.

It is perfectly safe for both. You can add it directly to the wash cycle or use it during a hand-wash soak. Just be sure to dilute it properly according to the instructions to avoid any concentrated blue spotting on your garments.

The formula is designed to be gentle and is safe for most delicate fabrics. However, because delicate materials can be unpredictable, we recommend diluting the product thoroughly in water before submerging the garment to ensure an even distribution.
