This bowl is not dishwasher safe. To preserve the wood, hand wash it with mild soap and warm water, then dry it immediately with a towel. Periodically applying a food-safe mineral oil or beeswax finish will help prevent the wood from drying out and keep the grain looking vibrant.

It is best to avoid serving very hot, liquid-heavy dishes in this bowl. While it is durable, prolonged exposure to high heat and moisture can cause the wood to warp or crack over time. It is better suited for salads, fruits, breads, or dry snacks.
