The shade uses a tension-based mounting mechanism that expands against the inside of your window frame. This creates a secure, pressure-fit hold without the need for screws or brackets, ensuring your window trim remains undamaged.

Because the no-drill system relies on tension, it works best in standard, rectangular window frames. If your frame is significantly out of square, the tension mechanism may not grip evenly, so we recommend double-checking your measurements at the top, middle, and bottom of the frame before ordering.

The linen fabric offers a light-filtering effect, meaning it softens harsh sunlight and provides privacy while still allowing a gentle, ambient glow into the room. It is not a blackout shade, so you will still see silhouettes if the lights are on inside at night.

Not at all. The cordless design uses a spring-tension system that allows you to simply push up or pull down on the bottom rail to position the shade exactly where you want it. It stays in place automatically without any locking mechanisms.

To keep the fabric looking fresh, we recommend regular light dusting with a microfiber cloth or a vacuum with a brush attachment. For spot cleaning, dab the area gently with a mild detergent and water, but avoid soaking the fabric to prevent water spots or shrinkage.
