This trivet is crafted from a durable blend of 80% jute, 13% cotton, and 7% acrylic. This combination provides the natural, rustic texture of jute while the cotton and acrylic fibers add necessary strength and longevity.

The tightly woven braided construction creates a thick, heat-resistant barrier that effectively shields delicate tabletops from hot dishes and moisture. It is designed for standard kitchen use, though you should avoid placing extremely high-heat items directly from a broiler or open flame onto the surface.

Because of the natural fibers, this trivet should only be spot cleaned. If a spill occurs, gently blot the area with a damp cloth and mild detergent, then allow it to air dry completely.

This trivet measures 8 inches in diameter. It is perfectly sized for standard-sized pots, pans, and serving dishes, but you may need to use two side-by-side if you are serving larger platters or oversized casserole dishes.
