Powell Peralta G-Slides

The G-Slides use a proprietary 85a 'Soft Slide' formula that bridges the gap between a soft cruiser wheel and a hard street wheel. This allows them to roll smoothly over rough asphalt and debris while still maintaining the ability to break into a controlled slide when you need it.

While they are excellent for cruising, filming, and all-terrain riding, they are softer than traditional hard street wheels. If your primary focus is technical flip tricks on smooth concrete, you might find them a bit too grippy or bouncy compared to a standard 99a or 101a wheel.

With a 56mm diameter and 38mm width, these are standard-sized wheels that fit most modern skateboard setups. If you are riding a very low-profile truck, you may want to ensure you have enough clearance to avoid wheel bite, though they are generally compatible with most configurations.

They excel on rough surfaces. The 85a durometer absorbs road vibration much better than harder wheels, providing a significantly smoother ride and higher roll speed on cracked pavement or gritty asphalt.

Like most high-quality urethane wheels, they will feel their best after a few sessions. While they are ready to ride immediately, the 'skin' on the surface will wear down slightly after your first few slides, making them feel more consistent and predictable.
