While it performs best on flat, hard surfaces like hardwood or tile, it can be used on low-pile carpet. However, using it on thick or plush carpeting may cause the mat to bunch or create an uneven surface that affects the roll of the ball.

You can keep the surface clean by using a lint roller to pick up dust or pet hair. For deeper cleaning, gently spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap, then allow it to air dry completely before rolling it back up.

The mat may have slight ripples from being rolled during shipping. To flatten it quickly, roll it in the opposite direction for a few minutes or lay it flat in a warm room; the material will naturally settle into a smooth, consistent surface.

This mat is designed primarily for refining your stroke, aim, and distance control on short-to-medium putts. While it helps build muscle memory for any length, the length of the mat will naturally limit how far back you can stand.

The mat is designed as a smooth surface for stroke practice. It does not include a physical hole or cup, allowing you to focus entirely on your alignment and the consistency of your stroke path.
