36 grit is on the coarser side, which is ideal for downhill, freeride, or aggressive carving where you need maximum lockdown. If you are doing light cruising or commuting, it will provide excellent grip, but be aware that it is more abrasive on your shoes than finer tapes.

The material is specifically engineered to be flexible, which helps it conform to the contours of your deck without lifting. Proper application—pressing firmly from the center outward and filing the edges—will keep the corners secure and prevent peeling.

Each sheet measures 11 inches by 11 inches. While they are designed primarily for longboards, you can certainly piece them together for a standard skateboard, though you will have seams where the sheets meet.

The packaging itself is die-cut, allowing you to use the cardboard as a stencil. You can place it over your deck before applying the tape or use it to spray paint custom designs onto your board for a personalized look.
