The Aura System uses a modular design featuring a removable top quilt with an enclosed foot box. You can configure it as a 15° mummy bag for colder nights, a 30° mummy bag for milder conditions, or detach the top entirely to use it as a standalone quilt.

At 4.06 lbs, it is on the heavier side for ultralight backpacking but offers excellent versatility for car camping or shorter treks where temperature variability is a concern. Its compressible TechLoft Micro insulation helps it pack down more efficiently than standard synthetic bags.

The two-layer offset construction prevents cold spots by ensuring insulation isn't compressed at the seams. Combined with the integrated chest and zipper baffles, these features work together to trap body heat and prevent drafts from entering the bag.

The bag measures 80 inches in length, which typically accommodates users up to 6 feet 2 inches comfortably. If you are taller than that, you may find the foot box restrictive.
