Look Keo Blade Kit

This kit is designed exclusively for the LOOK Keo Blade Carbon Ceramic and Keo Blade Carbon Ti pedal models. It will not fit standard Keo pedals or older non-blade versions.

The numbers represent the release tension of the pedal. A 12 is the standard setting for most road cyclists, 16 provides a firmer, more secure feel preferred by sprinters, and 20 offers the highest tension, typically used for track cycling where maximum retention is critical.

You can replace the blade at home with basic tools. The process involves removing the existing blade from the pedal body and sliding the new one into place, though it does require a bit of patience to ensure it seats correctly.

Some riders prefer a higher tension blade to prevent accidental unclipping during high-wattage efforts or sprints. If you find yourself pulling out of your pedals when standing up to climb or accelerate, moving up to a 16 or 20 tension can provide that extra sense of security.

No, the kit includes the replacement blades only. You will need your own tools, typically a small screwdriver or the specific removal tool often included with your original pedal purchase, to swap them out.
