While the board is food-safe, the marble and wood combination is primarily designed for serving and presentation. Using sharp knives directly on the surface may scratch the marble or dull your blades, so it is best reserved for arranging and displaying charcuterie.

Hand wash the board with mild soap and warm water, then dry it immediately to prevent the wood from warping. Avoid soaking it in water or putting it in the dishwasher, as high heat and moisture can damage the natural materials.

The board features a flat base designed for stability on dining tables and countertops. While it does not have rubber feet, the weight of the marble provides a sturdy, grounded feel during use.

The wood arrives finished, but like all natural wood serving pieces, it will benefit from occasional conditioning with food-grade mineral oil. This helps maintain the wood's luster and prevents it from drying out over time.

Marble is a porous natural stone and can be susceptible to staining or etching from highly acidic foods. To keep the surface pristine, it is best to place acidic items like citrus slices or balsamic reductions in small bowls or on parchment paper rather than directly on the marble.
