Zpacks Front Utility Pack

At just 2.9 ounces, the impact on your base weight is negligible. It is constructed from Ultra fabric, which is chosen specifically for its high strength-to-weight ratio, keeping the accessory durable without adding bulk.

The Ultra fabric used is highly water-resistant and durable, offering excellent protection for your electronics and snacks during light rain or mist. However, it is not fully submersible, so it is best to keep sensitive items in a dry bag if you anticipate heavy, sustained downpours.

Most hikers find that it integrates well with standard sternum straps, though you may need to adjust the positioning slightly to ensure it sits comfortably against your chest. It generally does not obstruct hydration hoses, but you might need to route your tube around the pack depending on your specific backpack design.
