A 120 flex is quite stiff and is generally designed for advanced to expert skiers who need a responsive, powerful boot for aggressive backcountry descents. If you are an intermediate skier looking for more forgiveness, you might find this boot too rigid for all-day comfort.

The Grilamid Bio material performs similarly to traditional petroleum-based plastics in terms of durability and stiffness. It maintains its structural integrity and flex characteristics well in cold alpine conditions, so you won't notice a performance drop-off due to the eco-friendly construction.

These boots are specifically designed for ski touring and are compatible with TLT (tech) and standard AT (alpine touring) bindings. They are not compatible with traditional downhill alpine bindings, so ensure your current setup supports touring boot soles.

The Wave closure system uses a single buckle to pull a cable across the instep, which distributes pressure more evenly across the foot than traditional buckles. This creates a more secure, customized hold without creating uncomfortable pressure points.

While it is possible to heat-mold these liners at home, we strongly recommend having a professional boot fitter perform the process. They have the specialized equipment to ensure the liner expands correctly to your foot shape, which is critical for preventing blisters and ensuring proper circulation.

The Gea RS offers a 60-degree range of motion in walk mode. This is excellent for efficient, natural strides while skinning, allowing for a comfortable and energy-saving ascent.
